Give a Regular Gift

You can easily set up a regular donation via Direct Debit here.
Many of our supporters find donating by Standing Order is another easy way to support us. Your donation is automatically taken care of through your bank, and you can choose to give a fixed amount regularly that fits in with your monthly budget. And you can amend or cancel it at any time.
The promise of a regular gift helps us enormously, as it provides a reliable source of income that means we can plan to improve and expand our care and support services that will make a real difference to everyone whose life has been touched by a life limiting illness, safe in the knowledge we have the funding to do so.
Giving by Standing Order is an agreement between you and Ardgowan Hospice to have regular donations taken from your bank or building society. It’s easy to set up – simply print out the form below and complete with your personal and bank or building society details along with the amount, frequency and preferred payment date for your regular donation.

Give a Gift in Your Will
Without gifts in wills, some charities would simply not exist. Some would have to make dramatic cuts in services.
Thanks to previous bequests, Ardgowan Hospice has been able to achieve many improvements in the care and support services we provide to people diagnosed with cancer and other life limiting illnesses.
For example, our unique ACCESS centre enables patients to receive care and support from the day they are diagnosed. The drop in facility allows patients and their carers to come in for a chat, use our resource library or participate in our education programme, which provides knowledge and support to help them cope with their situation.
However, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. Cancer affects one in three of us, causing great pain and suffering to many families.
So if you feel it is right for your family, and to help us to continue to support and enhance the quality of life of those patients and their families, please consider leaving a gift in your Will.
Your local Solicitor will be able to assist in making and changing wills or provide you with further information about leaving a legacy.
Give a Gift in Celebration
Giving a Gift in Celebration is a positive and unique way of celebrating a special occasion while supporting the work of Ardgowan Hospice.
So rather than receiving presents at your event, you can ask guests to make a donation to the Hospice.
You can create your own personal page giving details of your celebration and then email it to invite friends and family to donate. They can donate securely online using a debit or credit card.
It’s easy to set up. You will be able to see who has donated and any messages they wish to send you.
One such person who recently did this was Susan Swindells who asked friends and family to celebrate her 30th birthday by making a donation to Ardgowan Hospice instead of buying gifts. Both Susan and the Hospice were overwhelmed by the fantastic £860 gifted by Susan's very generous friends and family.
Give a Gift in Memory
Every year we open our doors to over 2000 families.Every year, over 300 families open their doors to one of our Community Nurse Specialists. Our care and support for these families often motivates many individuals who have lost a loved one through cancer, to give a gift to Ardgowan Hospice in memory of them.
"How can we begin to thank you for the care, attention and support you gave, not only to mum, but to all of us. It was great to see the way she really opened up to you and see the trust develop. This was a huge comfort to us."
Many people feel that donations given to Ardgowan Hospice instead of a floral tribute at funerals is a valuable and positive way of celebrating the life of a loved one. Funeral directors can help organise collections for you.
Another lasting tribute is to create an In Memoriam Fund that allows friends and family to share photos and stories of a friend or loved one and make a donation to the Hospice if they wish.
If you would like to give a gift in memory of a friend or loved one, or to donate the proceeds from a funeral collection, you can do so online or by sending a cheque to theFundraising Department12 Nelson StreetGreenockPA15 1TS
