Ardgowan Furniture and Electrical Store increases opening hours and collections
Ardgowan Hospice is increasing its opening hours and adding free collections on Saturdays to benefit shoppers in Inverclyde and surrounding areas. The large furniture and electrical store at Carnock Street, Greenock will now open on Sundays between 12pm and 4pm. Customers who work on weekdays can now take advantage of the new collection times of their pre-loved furniture on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm.
Linda Kelly, Retail Manager, explains the new service arrangements. She says: “We know that many people prefer to shop on a Sunday for homeware as it is when they have time to make decisions about what they want to add to their home. Also, many people are working in the week and can’t wait for uplift of furniture. This new Saturday service is designed to help them donate to the hospice and help us to support the community of Inverclyde.”
Stuart Murray, who manages the store, adds: “We are delighted to offer the Sunday opening and also a collection service at the weekend. We are hoping we can increase the levels of stock available to customers. The Furniture and Electrical store gives customers an opportunity to buy good quality furniture at competitive prices and the funds made help provide hospice care in the community. “
The new uplift service starts on Saturday 3rd February and the new Sunday hours start on Sunday 4th February. Please call 01475 892214 to arrange your uplift.
