Fundraising Friday: Ardgowan Hospice’s May to July Highlights
At Ardgowan Hospice, we are continuously inspired and uplifted by the incredible support we receive from our local community. Their efforts, creativity, and generosity help us provide vital care and services to those in need. On this Fundraising Friday, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us from May through July by showcasing the power of community spirit by highlighting just some of the fundraising efforts in Inverclyde.

Clyde Metals: We were delighted to receive a visit from Clyde Metals this week, who not only provided an invaluable service by removing scrap metal that had accumulated around the Greenock Methodist Church but also generously contributed to our community efforts. Their team efficiently took away items that we no longer had any use for, ensuring a cleaner and more organised environment for our congregation. In a heartwarming gesture, they handed us a cheque for £164 as a donation for the scrap metal.
Ann Rourke: For her birthday, Ann Rourke asked for memory boxes to donate to the hospice instead of birthday gifts. The memory boxes allow for young people to have a special place to keep treasured items of their loved ones who have passed away. If you would like to find out more about how to purchase these boxes, please visit: https://shop.winstonswish.org/collections/memory-boxes.
Ripping Router: Ripping Router generously donated a number of incredible items for our auctions to support Ardgowan Hospice. You can read more about the work of Ripping Router on their Facecbook page.
