Fundraising Friday: Corporate Blog
At Ardgowan Hospice, we are continuously inspired and uplifted by the incredible support we receive from our local community. Their efforts, creativity, and generosity help us provide vital care and services to those in need.
On this Fundraising Friday, we want to shine a spotlight on some of the businesses that have supported Ardgowan Hospice over the years. From donations to sponsoring events, their support has meant a lot to the hospice. Here are a few of the businesses that have helped us in various ways and why we want to thank them.
Clyde Eats – For three years in a row, Clyde Eats have sponsored our Jingle Bingo event in the Greenock Town Hall. Without their support, Jingle Bingo would not be the success it is each year. While only relatively new, Clyde Eats has made a lasting impact on the hospice, and we hope this great relationship can continue. Visit their website here.
Specsavers – As well as sponsoring our 2023 Firewalk, Specsavers also have several staff members who volunteer regularly in the hospice. Their expertise and support in these roles often go a long way in helping the hospice. We are grateful to have their continued support at the hospice and hope this continues in the future. Visit their website to book an appointment today.
Arnold Clark – Arnold Clark has been the main sponsor of our annual Ardgowan Hospice Ball, providing generous support that helps cover many of the costs involved in making the event a spectacular and memorable night for our guests. In addition, Arnold Clark supplies us with a large van for retail at no cost and offers an annual printing allowance to support our marketing efforts. We are incredibly grateful to have the backing of such a major brand, and we hope this valuable partnership continues.
Platinum Paving – Newly involved in supporting Ardgowan Hospice as a business, Platinum Paving has already made a lasting impact with their sponsoring of this year’s Firewalk. We thank them for supporting us and hope they can continue to do so in the future. Visit their website here.
A&I Geotechnical – As well as this year’s Ladies’ Day, A&I Geotechnical has been a recurring event sponsor for the hospice in recent years. Their continued support goes a long way in providing compassionate care, and we hope this support continues into the exciting future. Visit their website here.
Bowman Rebecchi – Bowman Rebecchi have allowed Ardgowan Hospice the use of their AD space for many of our events. This ad space can be found on the A8 so keep your eyes peeled in future for any advertised events on these boards. Marco Rebecchi also sits on the Board of Trustees for Ardgowan Hospice, and we are delighted to have the expertise as well as the support from both Marco Rebecchi and Andrew Bowman. Visit their website here.
Reid Mackellar – Reid Mackellar has been a regular supporter of the hospice and has continually contributed donations over the years. Their most recent donation of £2,000 makes a huge difference to the hospice and we are grateful to have them on board. We hope that Reid Mackellar will continue to support us through their generous fundraising and donations to the hospice. Visit their website here.
Golden Casket – With their excellent confectionery, you are often not far away from a Golden Casket product at our Ardgowan Hospice events. They have been donators of chocolates and sweets to our hospice events, adding a sweet touch for all of our guests. Golden Casket has been a stalwart of the Inverclyde community for decades and we are delighted that they have chosen to support us. Visit their website here.
A&M Advertising – With Bowman Rebecchi acquiring A&M Advertising, it would not be possible for our events to be advertised in public without them. Many of the advertising boards in Greenock are owned by A&M Advertising, and we are so grateful that they choose us to use their A8 board. Visit their website here.
Build Depot – Build Depot has been a huge advocate of supporting the hospice with several initiatives centred around raising vital funds. In January, they launched a donation drive and continue to donate money for every bulk bag of products sold. Contributions like this mean a lot to the hospice and we are grateful for all their support. Visit their website here.
VA Business Solutions – Along with A&I Geotechnical, VA Business Solutions has continued to sponsor our Ladies’ Day each year. Their support in this event makes it the roaring success that it is. Like most charities, events like our Ladies’ Day are crucial in raising vital funds for the hospice and we are delighted to have the backing of VA Business Solutions. Visit their website here.
McDonald’s – As a worldwide brand, we were delighted that our local McDonald’s franchises are always keen to get involved with our projects at the Hospice. As part of our Big Give appeal, McDonald’s donated £10,000 – half of which went to general funds. Their kind donations went towards a new family room in the hospice, which has made a huge difference in patient and family experience.
Ardgowan Distillery – Despite only recently opening their new build, Ardgowan Distillery has been a constant supporter of Ardgowan Hospice. Their sponsoring of our annual Ball, as well as donating proceeds from their recent Open Day, has been an important form of income for the hospice. With their Open Day being a roaring success, we are excited to see what the future holds. Visit their website here.
