Fundraising Friday: Recent Highlights
At Ardgowan Hospice, we are continuously inspired and uplifted by the incredible support we receive from our local community. Their efforts, creativity, and generosity help us provide vital care and services to those in need.
On this Fundraising Friday, we want to thank everyone who has supported us recently by showcasing the power of community spirit by highlighting some of the fundraising efforts in Inverclyde:
Victoria Jackson: Victoria Jackson held a race night fundraiser Victoria held at the Exchange in Greenock in memory of her dad. Victoria handed over a cheque for £3,500 to Ardgowan Hospice in a touching tribute to her father.
Mirren Marine: Staff from Mirren Marine, who support the berthing of cruise ships in Greenock, were recently joined by Clydeport colleagues in a fundraising effort in aid of the RNLI, Ardgowan Hospice and Cash For Kids. The team of rowers raised a total of £4,800, which has been split evenly between the three chosen charities.
Newark Angling Club: The Newark Angling Club club held its annual raffle during their September outing, raising £300 for Ardgowan Hospice.
Zip slide across the Clyde: Our recent zip slide across the Clyde was a great success, with the daring fifteen fundraisers raising a total of £4,269.34.
