Making a Will is one of the most important things that you can do to ensure you pass on any assets you may have to your family and loved ones. It gives you the peace of mind that you have provided support to your family and causes you care about.
Each year Ardgowan Hospice provides free care and support to many hundreds of patients and their families in Inverclyde. This means we rely on the generosity of the community. Legacy gifts are extremely important and allow us to secure the long-term future of hospice care in Inverclyde. Without them, we simply would not be able to provide all the services we do.
After you have made arrangements for your family you may also decide to leave a gift to charity in your Will. This is something completely personal and based on your own life experiences and views. By leaving a gift to Ardgowan Hospice in your Will, you will help us make a positive impact on the quality of life for so many people and for the generations to come.
For many people, leaving a gift in your Will could be the single biggest donation you ever make. It is also likely to be the one that makes the biggest difference.
Make a Will
We understand that making or amending a Will is something that people often put off. However, it is extremely important to have your matters up to date. Ardgowan Hospice has teamed up with McClure Solicitors to promote the importance of making a Will. McClure solicitors kindly agree to waive their usual Will-writing service and legal advice – usually costs £150 for a single Will and £240 for a couple – all they ask is that you make a donation to Ardgowan Hospice in lieu of the service you receive. You are not obliged to leave a gift in your Will to the Hospice, but we are always very grateful to those who do.
By using the services of a professional solicitor such as McClure Solicitors it means that your wishes will be honoured in full without any confusion. It means the people you care about will be able to benefit from your estate without extra expense and anxiety. Book an appointment today.
Free Will Review
It is important to have your Will reviewed by a professional experienced in Will writing. Even if you have a Will it may be worthwhile having it reviewed, especially if your situation has changed. It is also good practice to check that your Will is of good quality and valid. McClure solicitors will do this for free for you so book your appointment today by calling them on 0800 852 1999.
