Every year folk from across Inverclyde fundraise on our behalf. Through quiz nights, bake sales, ceilidhs, skydives and fun runs and any number of other weird and wonderful ways, thousands of pounds are generated to support the care we provide.
Every year we support almost 1,000 people living with a life limiting illness and their families.
No matter what activity or event you organise to fundraise for us, here’s how your money helps:
£50 could help to pay for a specialist nurse home visit to offer a patient physical, emotional and practical support
£100 could help to pay for 4 complementary therapy sessions to help reduce a patient’s stress and anxiety
£150 could help to pay for a child to be supported through a 6-week bereavement program to help them develop coping techniques
£300 could help to pay for 12 patient transport trips to hospital appointments for a patient to receive vital life-saving treatment
£600 could help to pay for a patient to receive intensive support in our In-patient unit overnight
Here are some ideas to get you started, but don’t feel restricted by your imagination.
