Ardgowan Hospice is always grateful to local community groups who not only help to raise money to fund vital patient care, but also help to raise awareness of our work across Inverclyde.

The Friends of Ardgowan Hospice are just one group who has been fundraising to help improve the quality of life for those living with a life limiting illness. Over the past five years, they have managed to raise an incredible £145,000.

We are always keen to support community groups to fundraise for Ardgowan Hospice – youth groups, sports clubs and associations, dance and choir groups – whatever your group is, we’d love to work with you.

Take a look at some of our fundraising ideas to get your group started:

Bake a big difference
Whether you’re whipping up a batch of brownies to flog or you’re feeding the five thousand in the name of fundraising, every scone you sell or canapé you cook will help us support people living with a life limiting illness.

Get the party started
From karaoke to dance-a-thons, get your group together and let loose.

Challenge yourself
Ever tried speed golf, walking a million miles or a 24 hour hill hike? Get your group together and take on a collective challenge.

Get the creative juices flowing
Even if you’ve not particularly artsy, you can always use some creative flair to put together an inspired event like a concert, art sale, or craft stall – whatever you fancy!

Whatever you decide to do, we’ve got some top tips for you and we’re here to help you with your fundraising. So give us a call on 01475 726830 and speak with a member of the fundraising team, or email fundraising@ardhosp.co.uk. We’re also really happy to come to your group to give a talk about our work so please do get in touch if you would like us to come along.
