Temporary restricted visiting: updated 12/05/2020
Temporary restricted visiting due to COVID-19 guidance – updated 12/05/2020
Following on from recent Government Guidance, we will continue to be restricting visiting times and ask that all patient visitors wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by us .
To protect all patients, their family members and our staff and volunteers from risk of infection, we are limiting the number of people able to visit each patient, and our restricted visiting will remain between the hours of 1500hrs – 1645hrs only.
This is a decision which has not been taken lightly, however we have made the decision to allow a maximum of one visiting time per day with two visitors per patient. This means when two people have visited no further visitors will be permitted to enter the Inpatient Unit, even if the previous visitors have left.
Whilst we understand that this will be difficult for you at this time we hope you will cooperate in helping us to manage this unprecedented crisis.
In some circumstances we may be able to relax these restrictions, but please discuss this with the Nurse in Charge before you travel out with these times or asking any other family members or friends to travel to the Hospice.
Please use our free Wi-Fi Ardgowan Guest to connect with friends and family using your own mobile devices.
Your continued assistance and understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
