Corporate Care Champions

Ardgowan Hospice's Business Club

Corporate Care Champions has been created to build long-term partnerships with local businesses who want to support Ardgowan Hospice and the vital care we provide in our community.

Members of the Business Club commit to raising or donating a minimum of £1,000 over a 12-month period. This flexible commitment allows businesses to support the hospice in a way that suits them, whether through fundraising, sponsorship, staff activities, or direct donations.

The aim is to create a network of engaged local businesses who champion the hospice while, not only, helping generate sustainable income that supports our charity’s work but find value in our yearly business club benefits.

Four tiers to choose from

Businesses can participate at different levels depending on their capacity and interest. Our tiers are all named in line with the charity’s CARE values - Compassion, Appreciation, Respect, Equality.
Should a business be on track to fundraise more, they will be given the option to move up a tier. The targets can be reached in many ways, for example, through cash donations or service exchange.

Tier one - Compassion: Businesses agree to raise £1,000, which could cover the cost of 20 counselling sessions
Tier two - Appreciation: Businesses agree to raise £2,500, which could cover the cost of a patient spending 4 nights in our inpatient unit
Tier three - Respect: Businesses agree to raise £5,000, which could cover the cost of one nurse for six weeks or the community nursing team for one week
Tier four - Equality: Businesses agree to raise £11,000 over the year, which covers the cost to run the charity for a day

Our way to give back to Ardgowan Hospice

A&I Geotechnical - Founding Member

"A & I Geotechnical Ltd is a committed supporter of the Hospice for both personal and ethical reasons. As our company has grown, we have sought to give more back to the community, and we hope to continue developing our relationship with the Hospice who have supported our family greatly over the years.

Although Inverclyde is often associated with deprivation, I believe its community is particularly strong in coming together to support those in need. It is also important to encourage more local businesses to contribute. We are delighted to be founding members of the Corporate Care Champions Business Club."
- Maria Cameron, Director (Tier 3 partner)

FAQs

No. We want to make Corporate Care Champions as accessible as possible. We hope that by having the four different tiers, it can appeal to a wide range of organisations from different sectors.

This will be discussed upon sign up depending what time of the year you join our business club. We aim to be as flexible and helpful as possible as to make sure this partnership works for everyone.
