Five Ferry Challenge

We are excited to launch a brand new cycling challenge for 2025 – the five ferry challenge! Join a small team of Ardgowan Hospice supporters who will be taking on the island-hopping adventure covering 52 miles of cycling!
We ask that everyone arrives at Troon ferry port no later than 7:10am – Thank you!
The route:
8am ferry from Troon to Brodick (Arran)
Lochranza (Arran) to Claonaig (Kintyre)
Tarbert (Kintyre) to Portavadie (Cowal)
Colintraive (Cowal) to Rhubodach (Bute)
Rothesay (Bute) to Wemyss Bay
[You will need to make your own way to Troon the morning of the event. A bus will return those who need to collect their cars back to Troon along with their bikes at the end of the challenge. A full information session will happen prior to the event for all attending the challenge.]
This event will be led by the experienced team at Sport Ecosse. They will be responsible on the day for the following:

Qualified first aid cover throughout the event
Signage erected on the route and taken down after the event is complete
