Fundraising Friday
At Ardgowan Hospice, we are continuously inspired and uplifted by the incredible fundraising support we receive from our local community. Their efforts, creativity, and generosity help us provide vital care and services to those in need.
On this Fundraising Friday, we want to thank everyone who has supported us recently by showcasing the power of community spirit, highlighting some of the fundraising efforts in Inverclyde:
Just before Christmas, the kind staff at the Greenock Mortgage Centre ran a 200 board with the proceeds being donated to Ardgowan Hospice, raising £210.

McCaskie’s held a Burns Supper & Whisky Pairing Event on January 25th, held in association with Tamdhu Speyside Single Malt Whisky. The team from McCaskies very kindly donated £20 from every ticket sold, as well as proceeds from the raffle. The evening made £2000.
Local woman, Francesca Brennan, took part in a brave New Year’s Day Dip in the Clyde on Greenock’s Esplanade. Her efforts raised a great £370.
Bogglestone Community Bingo Club kindly raised £81 for Ardgowan Hospice by collecting donations instead of sending Christmas cards to each other.

The Willow Bar raised £705 by raffling off two hampers and six bottles for their customers across the final few weeks in December.

Local baker, The Funki Chef, hosted an online auction for a Valentine ’s-themed cake and cupcake box, which raised money for the hospice.
Local family hub, Xcite Activity Play Centre and their patrons raised a fantastic £681.15 for the hospice throughout 2025.
