Fundraising

It now costs over £11,000 per day to run Ardgowan Hospice, with less than 40% of this being covered by the Government. Luckily, every year people like yourself from across Inverclyde and beyond continue to fundraise on our behalf. Through quiz nights, bake sales, ceilidhs, skydives and fun runs and any number of other weird and wonderful ways, thousands of pounds are generated to support the free care we provide.

Every year we support over 1,000 people living with a life limiting illness and their families. We are an independent local charity and all our services are free. Over 60% of our running costs need to be raised through fundraising and donations from compassionate individuals, groups, organisations and foundations.

Your contribution of time or money, as a volunteer, fundraiser or donor, makes a really meaningful difference to people when they need it most – people living in your community who may be your family, friends, neighbours or work colleagues.

Every pound raised and every minute of your time will help make a massive difference in people’s lives.
